Plan a vocabulary lesson. Subject and level: [SUBJECT_AND_LEVEL]. Words to teach (or the topic): [WORD_LIST_OR_TOPIC]. Students' language background: [LANGUAGE_BACKGROUND]. Time: [TIME]. For each word (up to 8), create a card: Word | Student-friendly definition | Example sentence from the topic | Non-example | Related words | Visual or gesture idea | Common confusion. Then plan the lesson: a 5-minute hook that introduces the context; direct teaching of 4 words with the "say it, see it, use it" routine; practice activities (sorting, matching, sentence completion, a short oral task); a quick retrieval quiz (5 items, mix of recall and use in context); and a closing writing task using three words. Add a spaced practice schedule: review after 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, and 3 weeks, with 5-minute activities for each. Provide a homework option, a way to assess that includes using words in new sentences (not just definitions), adaptations for multilingual learners (cognates, translations when helpful), and a simple tracking sheet. Check definitions for accuracy and mark any word where you are unsure as [CHECK DEFINITION].
