Teach me to solve [PROBLEM_TYPE] through one fully worked example, then test me. Subject and level: [SUBJECT_AND_LEVEL]. Part 1, worked example: choose a typical problem and solve it in numbered steps. After each step add a line beginning "Why:" that gives the reason, not just the action. Part 2, error traps: list the four most common mistakes students make on this type of problem. For each, show a wrong solution fragment, mark exactly where it goes wrong, and give the corrected fragment. Part 3, my turn: write one new problem that uses the same method with different numbers or context. Do not solve it. Stop and wait for my attempt. Part 4, a harder variant: describe, without solving it, what changes if one condition changes. When I send my attempt, check each step, tell me where my reasoning first went wrong (quote it), and say whether to repeat this type or move on, with a reason. Use plain language, write formulas in text, and keep each explanation under 40 words.
