Script Coverage Self-Review
Review your own script like a reader.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
Write a coverage report on my script. Script synopsis: [SYNOPSIS]. First ten pages: [FIRST_PAGES]. Genre and audience: [GENRE_AUDIENCE]. Provide: logline check, summary in 150 words, and scores from 1 to 5 for concept, structure, character, dialogue, originality, and marketability, with a two-sentence justification each. List strengths and weaknesses in bullet points, and a recommendation (pass, consider, recommend) with an explanation. Tell me the three changes that would most improve the script. Be candid but constructive, and note that coverage reflects one reader's view. Include questions I should ask beta readers. Add a final section that lists the questions a reader would most likely ask at the end, and a way to answer them in the script. Provide a checklist for reviewing the script after a break of two weeks, and a list of comparison notes for the type of market it is aimed at, described generally without naming real productions.
