Plan authentication tests in Postman using test accounts and non-production environments only. Authentication method (basic, token, OAuth style flow described in words): [AUTH_METHOD]. Environments and test accounts: [ENVIRONMENTS_AND_ACCOUNTS]. Token lifetime and refresh rules: [TOKEN_RULES].

Give a test table with Case, Request, Expected status and body, Variables used and Cleanup, with at least ten cases: obtain a token with a test account, use it on a protected endpoint, expired token, missing token, wrong scope, refresh, and password reset and sign-out where relevant. Explain the token lifecycle: store credentials as secret environment variables, set tokens from a response with a script, never print them in the console, and clear them at the end of a run [VERIFY features]. Describe how test accounts are created, reset and owned, and shared through a password manager, not in the collection.

Security hygiene: no tokens in saved example responses, no credentials in request bodies, secret variables for passwords, no token logging in scripts, and sharing limited to named people. Monthly routine: scan the collection for token-like strings, rotate test credentials, review access. If a real token is found: revoke it in the identity system, remove it from the collection and its history, rotate, and tell the security team. Never paste real credentials into prompts, collections or screenshots.
