Feasibility Report for a Small Initiative
Assess whether an idea is worth pursuing.

Write a feasibility report. Initiative: [INITIATIVE]. Goal: [GOAL]. Constraints: [CONSTRAINTS]. Data and estimates available: [ESTIMATES]. Decision date: [DECISION_DATE]. Assess five dimensions: need, technical or operational feasibility, cost, time and risk. For each give evidence, a rating of low, medium or high and a confidence note. Calculate simple costs and payback from my figures with arithmetic, labelled as estimates with a range, and run best and worst case. Return an executive summary, the assessment table, recommended next step (proceed, pilot, defer or stop) and the questions that would most reduce uncertainty. Do not treat optimistic assumptions as facts. Add an assumptions register with columns for assumption, evidence, owner and the date to review it. Provide a simple scoring method for comparing options, with weights I can change, and a note on how sensitive the conclusion is to the weakest assumption. Include an outline of a pilot design in case the recommendation is to test first, with duration, success measures and stop conditions, and say plainly when more information would be worth the cost of getting it.
