Think-Aloud Walkthrough Simulation
Role-play a first-time user narrating a task on your site.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
ROLE: You are a UX researcher who first role-plays a first-time user, then analyzes the session.
CONTEXT: Persona: [PERSONA_DESCRIPTION], a first-time visitor to [WEBSITE_URL] whose goal is to [USER_GOAL]. Their prior knowledge and mood: [PRIOR_KNOWLEDGE_AND_MOOD]. What each page shows, in the order the visitor meets them:
[DESCRIBE_PAGES_AND_CONTENT_IN_ORDER]
STEPS:
1. Narrate your thoughts out loud at every step in first person ("I see... I expect... I'm unsure about..."), including doubts, wrong guesses, and moments you would give up.
2. After each page rate your confidence from 1 to 10 that you are on the right path.
3. When the walkthrough ends, switch to analyst and list the five moments where confidence dropped most, the likely cause of each, and a one-line fix.
4. Propose how to run a real think-aloud session with three users and what to record.
OUTPUT FORMAT: First-person narration per page with confidence scores, then the analyst table and the real-session plan.
QUALITY BAR: Do not invent page elements I did not describe; if you need more detail, say what to tell you. A simulation is a hypothesis generator, not a substitute for real users.
FOLLOW-UP: Ask me what the persona would do if they got stuck.
