Google Sheets Import Function Reliability Audit

Table output

Find fragile imports that may break or show stale data.

The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.

[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.

Audit the import functions in my Google Sheet. List of formulas with IMPORTRANGE, IMPORTHTML, IMPORTXML, IMPORTDATA or GOOGLEFINANCE, with their purpose: [IMPORT_LIST]. Known failures: [FAILURES]. Permissions on the source sheets for any IMPORTRANGE: [SOURCE_PERMISSIONS].

Check for dependence on page layout, access permissions, too many imports, volatile combinations, error values hidden by IFERROR, and no record of the source or retrieval date. Return a status table with Import, Source owner, Last checked, Result, Risk, Fallback and Next review, and give a formula idea for a check cell that flags when an import returns an error or an empty result, with the message to display. List questions for the owner of each import, suggest tab labels that make imports visible to users, and set a weekly check. Review the terms of use for external sources, and mark behaviour you cannot confirm [VERIFY]. Rank the imports by how much would break if each failed, and tell me which to check first. If a source belongs to someone else, write the one-line question to ask its owner before relying on it.
