Board Column and Automation Duplication Audit
Find redundant columns, conflicting automations and unused boards.
The Open buttons send the prompt text as currently shown below to that site only when you click. Fill in the placeholders first.
[VERIFY] is an editorial flag, not a blank to fill. Wherever the prompt shows [VERIFY], check that item against a reliable source before you use it.
Audit my monday.com workspace for duplication. A list of boards with column names and types: [BOARD_COLUMNS]. A list of automations and integrations with their triggers and actions: [AUTOMATIONS]. How the boards are used: [USAGE]. Identify columns that overlap (two status columns, three date columns), columns that nobody fills in, boards with near-identical structure, and automations that conflict or may loop (two rules changing the same status). Make a table with Board, Column or automation, Issue, Impact, and Suggested change. Count the columns per board and flag boards over 25 columns with the arithmetic. Propose a standard set of columns for each board type, naming rules, and a retirement process for unused boards (announce, archive after 30 days). Add a test plan before changing automations. Do not assume plan limits or features; mark them [VERIFY]. Add a worked example: three boards each have 'Status', 'Stage' and 'Progress' columns; merge into one status definition, then show the effect on 31 columns reduced to 19 (a 39 percent reduction) and how to test each automation on a copy of the board before switching it on.
